Characteristics
Monel 400 / UNS N04400 is also referred to as Nickel Alloy 400 / Alloy 400. It is a highly ductile nickel-copper alloy composed of roughly two-thirds nickel and one-third copper.
It offers excellent corrosion resistance in various service environments, including alkalis, brine, hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid. Monel 400 is a high-performance material with superior toughness, high mechanical strength and a wide operating temperature range.
