625 Nickel Bar
Nickel Alloy 625 baris used for its high strength, easy fabrication (including joining), and outstanding corrosion resistance. Service temperatures range from cryogenic to 1800?F (982?C). Alloy 625 derives its strength from the stiffening effect of molybdenum and niobium on its nickel-chromium matrix – thus eliminating the need for precipitation-hardening treatments. This unique composition is also responsible for the products superior resistance to a wide range of severely corrosive condition and high-temperature effect such as oxidation and carburization. The properties of Alloy 625 make it an excellent choice for seawater, aerospace, and chemical processing applications.
